Student Programs

At the Cody Outdoor Center we recognize that teachers are under ever increasing pressure to deliver better results with fewer resources while ensuring students are equipped with the skills for today's society. Developing opportunities that embrace the needs of students and meet the demands of a challenging curriculum are the basis for future success.

We also recognize that curricular activities need to be balanced with recreation to fully accentuate the learning process. 
We offer flexibility in your program, and provide a full range of Recreational Activities for your weekday or weekend visit.

We will lead your group through a series of challenges that you can use to encourage your students’ cohesiveness and cooperation. Activities are designed to meet the need of each individual teacher, group or school. This session may be held outside and involves minor physical exertion. This workshop is also useful for enhancing staff relationships.
Team building is more than a cosmetic exercise for schools. Building teams can be a way to help teachers overcome their isolation and reach out to each other to share ideas. Team building can be the first step toward building collegiality, a component that sets the foundations for the growth of a strong school culture that supports and encourages change.
